Opened in December 1994 by fellow musician Eddie Z, The Playroom is Charlotte’s oldest and most established rehearsal facility.  Catering to musicians of all levels and all styles, The Playroom has been able to help musicians from all walks of life.  Currently home to over 125 musicians, The Playroom is conveniently located but also very private, The Playroom offers its artists uncompromising confidentiality which is important when your clientele consists of Grammy award winning artists that are looking for a place to fly under the radar and be as productive as possible.

If full tour rehearsal, choreography, band auditions, label or agent showcase, video or photo shoots, or your neighbors don’t share your musical tastes, The Playroom is your answer.  With 22 monthly studios, and 2 different daily or hourly rooms, we have the room to fit your musical needs.  From the weekend warrior garage band to some of the biggest names in the music business, we can fill your every musical and equipment need.  Our rooms can come empty and you bring your own gear or we can supply everything and you just walk in, plug in, and play.

No matter what your experience level, music style or budget, The Playroom will do everything possible to accommodate your needs.  We are “An Amusement Park for Musicians”.
